Ted Fullerton worked and conducted self directed studies contemporary and Pre-Columbian art, South America in 1977. From 1972-1976 he attended The Ontario College of Art, Toronto, Ontario graduating with Honors in Fine Arts.
He was the artist in residence at Cape Dorset, Arctic, in 1993, Canadore College, North Bay, 1993-94, Montoya Sculpture, West Palm Beach, Florida, U.S.A. in 2000.
He has published a number of articles and essays for various galleries and publications.

He is represented by The Foster White Gallery, Seattle Washington, USA Bau-Xi Gallery, Toronto Bau-Xi Gallery, Vancouver Joan Ferneyhough Gallery, North Bay Wolseley Gallery, London, England.
He has had numerous solo and groupb exhibitions internationally. Most of his paintings are done with oil paint on wood, he also creates mixed media works. Not only a painter, he also creates sculptures, large scale public installations, drawings, and prints.
