Otto D. Rogers

Otto Donald Rogers was born in 1935 in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan. He received his Master degree in Fine Art from the University of Wisconsin.

Rogers taught at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, from 1959-1988.  His time in Saskatchewan was very influencial, Rogers devoted much of his time to help sustain the Emma Lake Workshops.

His abstract works have been exhibited internationally and are part of collections at The Art Gallery of Ontario, the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, Fredericton, Canada Council art Bank, the Art Gallery of Hamilton, the Art Gallery of Windsor, McKenzie Art Gallery, Regina, Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and the National Gallery of Canada, among others.



Since 1960, Rogers has been a member of the Canadian Bahá’i Community. He is also a member of The Royal Canadian Academy. 

Currently he resides in Prince Edward County, Ontario.
