Kathryn Bemrose

Kathryn Bemrose trained at Ontario College of Art and Art’s Sake from 1973 to 1979, under noted Toronto painters Gordon Rayner, David Bolduc, Robert Markle, Dennis Burton and Robert Hedrick.

From 1982 to 1986 she lived in Algonquin Park drawing inspiration from the wilderness.  She returned to Toronto after receiving a Canada Council grant. She became a member of The Royal Academy of Canadian Art in 2003.

Bemrose was represented for six years by Christopher Cutts Gallery. She has exhibited in many private and public galleries such as, The Art Gallery of Mississauga, Robert McLaughlin Gallery. She has exhibited alongside Ray Mead and Tom Hodgson, members of the group Painters Eleven. 

Currently she is represented by De Luca Fine Art, her work can also be found in many private and corporate collections. 

She currently lives and works in Toronto, Ontario.
