Kathleen Margaret Graham was born in 1913 in Hamilton Ontario. She attended Trinity College, part of University of Toronto. It wasn't until the death pf her husband, in 1962 that Graham took up painting, she was mostly self-taught.
Graham spent a lot of time travelling and frequently visited local galleries. She was a docent at the Art Gallery of Toronto.
Graham had her first exhibition at the Carmen Lamanna Gallery, Toronto, in 1967.
In 1971, she visited Cape Dorset, the first of many trips to the north. The landscape of the Arctic and Newfoundland inspired her and resulted in evolution of her work to include borader subjects and perspectives.
A member of the Royal Canadian Academy, Graham participated in several notable group exhibitions.
She died in 2008 in Toronto Ontario.
