Ann Kipling was born in Victoria, British Columbia, in 1934. She studied at the Vancouver School of Art in 1955, and graduated with honours in 1960. She studied with artists Jan Zach and Herbert Seibner, in Victoria and attended the Institute Allende in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
Kipling works exclusively on paper, creating unique drawings that capture life, movement, and energy. She also incorporates watercolours.
Her work can be found in public, private, and corporate collections across the country.
Kipling is a member of The Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, and a CARFAC (Canadian Artists' Representation/le Front des artistes Canadiens) Honorary member.
